摘要
•Neighborhood greenery measures were developed to focus on walkable roads.•Street and overall greenery was assessed in 500 m to 1250 m buffers at 424 addresses.•Street tree cover was consistently associated with active transportation (AT).•Odds of AT were 19% to 41% higher given a 10% increase in street-level tree cover.•Salutatory ecosystem services such as shade and aesthetics are plausible mechanisms.
