Blind IR spectral deconvolution for image feature extraction via sparse representation regularization

•An infrared spectral deconvolution method is proposed for image feature extraction task.•Bandelet transforms coefficients regularization is designed to retain spectral details.•The split Bregman iteration algorithm is described to optimize the proposed model.•The robustness of the method is verified by real-world experiments and image feature extraction applications.
