摘要

This paper investigates an incoherent approach to heterodyne uncorrelated free running optical tones to generate phase modulated (e.g. DPSK) mm-wave signal from regular optical signal at the last miles. Proposed scheme relies on simple electrical delay-and-multiply type demodulator at the customer premise for a LO-free data recovery.
