Simultaneous measurement of refractive index and temperature based on reflective LPG-FBGs.

A novel dual-parameter measurement scheme based on a Long Period Grating concatenate with multiple Fiber Bragg Gratings. The temperature and surrounding refractive index can be measured simultaneously by monitoring the reflection spectrum of the structure.
