Development of a duplex lateral flow dipstick test for the detection and differentiation of Listeria spp. and Listeria monocytogenes in meat products based on loop-mediated isothermal amplification

•Listeria sp. and Listeria monocytogenes could be measured in one step method.•Only DNA amount 900 fg of Listeria sp. and L. monocytogenes were detected by DLFD.•100 samples were tested and showed 100% accuracy, sensitivity and specificity.
