Circularly Polarized Proximity Feed Patch Antenna For Fmcw Radar

In this paper a broad band circularly polarized antenna is presented which can operate over 300MHz bandwidth. Investigation for the design parameter is performed and improvement in axial ratio for the proposed design is also shown. The fabricated antenna is tested and measured results are given for comparison. The prototype is used as a transmitter and receiver antenna in a FMCW radar system. Also the range profile for a moving target is recorded and presented with experimental setup.
