•BCL2 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) affected the risk of anti-tuberculous therapy-associated drug-induced liver injury (ATT-DILI).•BCL2 SNPs affected some clinical symptoms, subtypes, and laboratory indices of ATT-DILI.•BCL2 variants may affect the occurrence of ATT-DILI by regulating gene expression.
