The Ld And Quantum Dot-Based White Light Sources For Joint Lighting And Visible Light Communications

A white light source composed with the blue laser diode (LD) and green and red quantum dots is investigated for joint lighting and visible light communications. Some issues about the properties of the proposed white light source are experimentally analyzed in details. They are very suitable to be applied in the long distant high speed visible light communication.
