Evaluating psychological support services available for men living with prostate cancer and their carers and families across England

Treatment decisions, in this growing group of men, are notoriously complex with the risk of progression and psychological impact of a cancer diagnosis balanced against significant potential morbidity associated with treatment. It is therefore important to consider the psychological impact of living with and beyond a cancer diagnosis, not only in terms of quality of life but also emotional consequences, supportive care needs, as well as the emotional well-being of partners and carers.
