摘要
•g-C3N4–CdS nanocomposites were synthesized by a nanosecond pulsed laser.•Characterization studies showed CdS NPs is well placed on the g-C3N4 surface.•Improved visible light absorbance & decreased photo-generated charge recombination.•Applied for photocatalytic degradation of toxic pollutants from aqueous solutions.•Excellent photocatalytic activity under visible light irradiation.
