摘要
ABSTRACTDiscrete Event System Specification (DEVS) is a mathematical formalism to model and simulate discrete-event dynamic systems. The advantages of DEVS include a rigorous formal definition of models and a well-defined mechanism for modular composition. In this tutorial, we introduce Cadmium, a new DEVS simulator. Cadmium is a C++17 header only DEVS simulator easy to include and to integrate into different projects. We discuss the tool's Application Programming Interface, the simulation algorithms used and its implementation. We present a case study as an example to explain how to implement DEVS models in Cadmium.
