Facile synthesis of metal-organic framework UiO-66 for adsorptive removal of methylene blue from water

UiO-66(x) with different water content were prepared by a two-step simple method at room temperature, which owns high specific surface area. UiO-66 performs pretty adsorption capacity with maximum adsorption amount of 543.48 mg g−1 and cycle stability for methylene blue removal from water because of its better surface area.
