H Diffusion in Excel Measured by LIBS

H bulk diffusion in Excel (Zr-3.5% Sn-0.8% Mo-0.8% Nb) was measured using the Laser Induce Breakdown Spectrometry (LIBS) technique in 469-660 K (196-387 degrees C) temperature range for the first time. D temperature dependence obeys the Arrhenius law with activation energy Q = (30 +/- 3) kJ/mol and D-0 = (3.0 +/- 1.0)x10(-8) m(2)/s. Those values are compatible with previous measurements of H diffusion in pure alpha-Zr and their alloys. (C) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
