摘要

The combination of an electroactive trimetallic unit with the chromophore N-(4-pyridyl)-1,8-naphthalimide (NI-py) was accomplished, yielding the symmetric trinuclear ruthenium cluster [Ru3O(CH3COO)6(NI-py)3]PF6 (1). The electrochromism presented by 1 was maintained in a film assembled on FTO electrode, while the luminescence of NI-py was quenched, opening the opportunity to study photoinduced electron transfer processes.
