PSO Algorithm Based Thermoelectric Cooler Temperature Control System Design

摘要
Thermoelectric Cooler (TEC) is widely applied in the field of temperature control. It has the advantages of non-pollution and high precision. A TEC temperature control system is designed in this paper. The simple mathematical model is established by theoretical analysis. The parameters of the mathematical model are identified by several improved PSO algorithms through the actual input and output values of the system. The incremental PID control parameters are designed on the basis of the mathematical model. Experiment results show that the mathematical model parameters of the system can be identified effectively by the PSO algorithms used in this paper. This method has high applicability due to it ignores the complex heat conduction process in the system. The incremental PID control system based on this model has less overshoot and good stability in practical application.
