Geometrical Light Trapping In Thin C-Si Solar Cells Beyond Lambertian Limit
2019 IEEE 46TH PHOTOVOLTAIC SPECIALISTS CONFERENCE (PVSC)(2019)
摘要
Incomplete photon absorption is one big drawback in solar cells with thin absorbers. Therefore, the development of advanced light-trapping schemes is one major task to reduce the optical losses. The so-called Lambertian scattering is often used as a benchmark for the application of light-trapping schemes with features that are treated by geometrical optics. In our optical simulation study, we introduce two different deterministic light-trapping approaches. We show that in both cases, the absorptance in 60 mu m thin c-Si absorbers exceeds the value for Lambertian scattering in a broad spectral range.
