Delta plot analysis of cardiovascular and cardiorespiratory interactions in young women with orthostatic intolerance

•Autonomic regulation is modified in women with orthostatic intolerance already in supine position.•Low HRV along with high BPV is increased in women with orthostatic intolerance.•Bradycardic baroreflex is more compromised than tachycardic baroreflex in female patients during orthostatic phase.•Respiration and heart rate lose control on both systolic and diastolic BPV in patients.•Cardiorespiratory interactions are more impaired during inspiration than expiration.
