摘要
•Early detection of subtle cognitive deficits may assist physicians in decisions regarding ECT treatment adjustments.•ECCA is a relatively simple, stand-alone cognitive screening tool that can be administered in less than ten minutes and is applicable in the clinical setting.•ECCA can alert clinicians of early cognitive changes during the ECT course and guide appropriate clinical decision-making.•With the mainstream implementation of the ECCA, measurement-based care could easily be incorporated to optimize the practice of ECT.
