摘要

•A new theoretical model of bubble Sauter mean diameter (d32) in FBCs is developed.•The width of log-normal BSD can be determined by dmax/dmin.•The effects of dmax and dmax/dmin on d32 are both considered.•The d32 of air–water system in FBCs can be well predicted with the present model.
