Throttle Characteristics of ADS Valve for Shock Absorber

To study the influence of throttle characteristics of ADS valve for shock absorber, the throttle characteristic model of damping valve in different deformation states are established on the basis of hydromechanics and elasticity mechanics theory. Influences of valve slices’ number, outer radius, maximum deformation and fixed throttle diameter on its throttle characteristic are researched. Numerical simulation results are verified by corresponding experimental tests. The results demonstrate that differential pressure grows up with the increase of valves’ number, but decreases with addition of fixed throttle diameter during each working condition, outer radius of valve slices generate a rise of differential pressure after opening valve, and max deformation makes a degradation of differential pressure after maximum opening valve.
