Decision-making about intrusive thoughts: Relationships to attitudes towards them.

•Decision making and evaluations of various OCD thoughts were investigated.•Hasty decisions were related to negative evaluation of violent and sexual thoughts.•Sexual and violent thoughts were considered more likely true than other thoughts.•Those with higher OC traits made hastier decisions about most of the OC thoughts.
