H 2 S donor GYY4137 ameliorates paclitaxel-induced neuropathic pain in mice.

•Paclitaxel reduces hydrogen sulfide (H2S) generation in both the periphery and CNS.•The H2S donor GYY4137 alleviates paclitaxel-induced thermal hyperalgesia.•The antihyperalgesic effect of GYY4137 is KATP channels-dependent.•GYY4137 prevents both the paclitaxel-induced decrease in H2S generation and PINP.•GYY4137 enhances the antiproliferative effect of paclitaxel in a cancel cell line.
