Fabrication of Ti-Si intermetallic compound porous membrane using an in-situ reactive sintering process

•Ti-Si porous membrane was successfully prepared by an in-situ reactive sintering process.•The average pore size and thickness of the membrane are about 0.1 µm and 1.5～2.0 µm, respectively.•The average size of Ti-Si intermetallic granules is about 0.5 µm.
