摘要

•Hydrophilic PEG organosilane-derived hybrid films showing excellent water sliding/removal properties were developed.•Long PEG chain was useful in enhancing both static hydrophilicity and water sliding/removal properties.•The resulting water sliding/removal properties were superior to those of conventional hydrophobic perfluorinated surfaces.
