摘要
•A high potential SO2 biofilter was designed using magnetotactic bacteria.•Removal efficiency of the designed biofilter was obtained more than 99%•The designed biofilter was able to degrade SO2 up to 22281 mg m−3.•Electrochemical performance of MTB reduced the ham of H+ ions during SO2 biofiltration.
