摘要
The Hydroflown is a novel very small acoustic vector sensor that is able to directly measure particle velocity. In contrast to pressure gradient techniques and accelerometers, this sensor has a good low frequency behavior and directionality. The recent developments are described in this paper. These include laboratory calibration techniques, some comments on sensor (pre)packaging and sensor test results. In a sea trial the sensor performance is evaluated in comparison with regular hydrophones.
