摘要

This study presents new paleomagnetic results from 17 sites in the lava flows younger than 1.1 Ma from the East Carpathians. Based on these new data and previous results, we show that there is a significant change in the paleosecular variation of the geomagnetic field after 1 Ma at around 46 degrees N.
