The hysteretic behavior inherent to intelligent materials turns their respective formulation intrinsically nonlinear, enabling plentiful dynamical responses, ranging from periodic to chaotic solutions. This paper aims to discuss the dynamical stability of a two-degree of freedom sketch with Shape Memory Alloy (SMA) restoring elements, considering a polynomial constitutive model. The numerical results consider stable/unstable points’ identification, besides mapping the influence of different temperature of the SMA elements by means of basins of attraction.
