QoS Management for Video Streaming Service

The high speed Internet causes an increment of network traffics and multimedia applications. Among this, Video streaming service is increasing rapidly all over the world. However, a network infrastructure cannot support video traffics sufficiently. Therefore, this study suggested a bandwidth reservation mechanism using Internet Group Management Protocol (IGMP). We referenced a Multiple Stream Reservation Protocol (MSRP) which is bandwidth reservation protocol in IEEE 802.1AVB. We examined our suggestion with network simulator, OPNET, and compared an end-to-end delay for multicast video streaming service.
