composed of Ti only, whereas the Ortho 2 (OH) bracket was eomposed of Ti {base) and Ti-6Al-4V in mierohar'dness. Further on microhardness, the values of the OR bracket at the base and wings were different・. On the release of elements, it was significant only in the aeet・ie NaF solut・ien of pH 3.5, Hewever, the release {)f Al (6.11 ± O.93 ppm) and V (1.16±O.40 ppm) in this so]ut・ion was lew. In eonclusion, an aeetic NaF solution of low pH eould damage Ti-based orthodontic brackets.
