摘要
•For the first time, it is proposed that the increase of Lp-PLA2 level in Chinese type 2 diabetes mellitus population is associated with lower extremity arterial disease.•Serum Lp-PLA2 mass is negatively correlated with ankle-brachial index, positively correlated with age, duration of diabetes, glycosylated hemoglobin.•The prevalence of female with LEAD in type 2 diabetes was higher than that without LEAD in type 2 diabetes.
