•A method is proposed for the combined use of differential and integral experiments for nuclear data adjustments within a Bayesian framework.•The method combines likelihood functions from two Bayesian updates.•The combined likelihood is used for data adjustments and multi-level uncertainty propagation within the TMC method.•The method proposed was applied for the adjustment of n+Pb208 in the fast energy region.
