An Interactive Web System For Group Project Management And Peer Evaluation

In this paper, we describe the design and development of a web-based project management and evaluation system for group work and peer learning. Using this system, the instructor can dynamically manage projects submitted from students and form student groups, while the students are allowed to peer-evaluate and leave comments on the in-class group presentations. Each student group will be able to check their own performance and review the feedback made by their peer learners. In addition to the conventional tabular reports, the system also provides visualizations to better present the final evaluation results. Both parties agree that the system provides more interactive features that give them greater control in managing the group projects.
