摘要
We appreciate the comments from Jing Chen et al. on the methodological issues in our study, in which a threshold of 100 IU/mL was considered as the lower limit of serum HBV DNA detection. The quantitation of serum HBV DNA is a crucial component in the assessment of antiviral efficacy in patients with chronic hepatitis B (CHB). However, many commercially available HBV DNA assays used in clinical practice differ in performance, leading to different limits of detection (LoD) and linear range.
