摘要
Electrocorticographic (ECoG) motor changes were quantified across 20 human subjects who underwent invasive subdural electrode array placement for a 5-7 day monitoring period prior to seizure focus resection. An interval-based motor repetition task produced consistent spectral shifts which were quantified for functional mapping using a Talairachstandardized cortical template. High frequency band (HFB: 76-100 Hz) and low frequency band (LFB: 8-32 Hz) maps were created independently for several different movement modalities in each subject. The power in the LFB/HFB band consistently decreased/increased with movement, and the HFB changes were more focal than the LFB changes. Stimulation mapping results were captured with the mapping technique. Sensorimotor representation was found to be somatotopic, localized in stereotactic space to Rolandic cortex, and, on average, followed the classic …
