摘要
This article presents a multiphysics design process considering multiobjective optimization for high-speed permanent magnet machines (HSPMMs) to obtain an optimized design. Based on the initial dimensions, the parameters of the active part of the rotor are further limited through the analysis of rotor stress and dynamics. The multiobjective optimization on the electromagnetic characteristics is conducted under the above ranges of parameters to obtain high efficiency and low thermal load. The design parameters of the cooling system are analyzed and the thermal field is also studied using the coupled fluid-temperature model. A prototype has been fabricated and tested to validate the multiphysics design process including the multiobjective optimization.
