Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are referred as RNA molecules with length of at least 200 nucleotides (nt) and usually have low protein-coding potential (Chekanova 2015). In plants, emerging evidences indicate that lncRNAs function as key modulators in development and stress response at the epigenetic, transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels (Chekanova 2015; Lucero et al. 2021). Multiple comprehensive databases have been constructed for human or animals, such as LncBook (Ma et al. 2019).
