Determining the Composition of the Group of Drones and the Basing Method for Oil Pipeline Monitoring

摘要
We developed a mathematical model to determine the composition of the group of drones and its basing method for the oil pipeline monitoring task. The model’s specific is its possibility to calculate the cost of surveillance for a specified period. The model can work with all types of unmanned aerial vehicles. It is suitable for oil pipelines, gas pipelines, power lines, and other similar objects. This model can be used to select the drone technical characteristics for a specific application. We also implemented this model in the software application and evaluated the obtained results.
