Researches on Magnetostrictive Hybrid Vibration Isolation System Based on Sliding Mode Algorithm

There is a little deficiency of passive vibration isolation system for mechanical equipment in the low frequency, based on the GMA and sliding mode algorithm. The model of magnetostrictive hybrid vibration isolation system (MHVIS) is proposed with the combination of intelligent magnetostrictive materials, passive vibration and active control. Numerical simulation results show that the MHVIS can quickly improve system response speed, broaden vibration frequencies and effectively decrease the force transmitted to foundation with a good control performance.
