摘要
Shared and unique neuroanatomical profiles of depression and anxiety are not well established. Depression has been associated with hippocampal, amygdala, and basal ganglia gray matter volume (GMV) reductions, while anxiety has been associated with amygdala GMV increases, hippocampal GMV decreases, and basal ganglia abnormalities. The present study extends this work by examining the relationship between GMV and individuals with depression, anxiety, or comorbid depression-anxiety. We then examine the relationship between GMV and empirically derived symptom profiles from the Tri-level Model of depression and anxiety.
