MAP Detection with Self-Detected Threshold Amplitude Algorithm for Probabilistic Shaped 64-QAM Optical Fiber Transmission

In this paper, we show the self-detected threshold amplitude algorithm of the MAP detection without prior knowledge of the probability of each constellation point. The computer simulation confirms that the proposed MAP detection has a better performance than the ML detection in both back-to-back and a fiber transmission case, respectively.
