摘要

•Si3N4 can improve the dispersion of Ru species compared with SiO2.•The amino group on the surface of Si3N4, a strong donor, can transfer electron to Ru species.•The electron-enriched Ru species are beneficial for the CO hydrogenation and the C-C coupling.•2%Ru/Si3N4 exhibits higher activity and higher selectivity to C5+.
