Cerebellar Dysfunction, Cerebro-cerebellar Connectivity and Autism Spectrum Disorders

•Existing findings suggest a critical role for the cerebellum in the pathophysiology of autism spectrum disorder (ASD).•We here discuss recent studies on the connection between cerebellar dysfunction and ASD.•We summarize mouse genetics used for studying the relationship between cerebellar dysfunction and ASD-related behaviors.•We raise several intriguing questions needed to be investigated in future.
