摘要
Objective\r\nTo observe the clinical efficacy and the influence factors of low vision in patients with age-related cataract after phacoemulsification combined with IOL implantation.\r\n\r\n\r\nMethods\r\nClinical data of 1 063 eyes of 840 cases with age-related cataract was analyzed in the retrospective clinical follow-up study. All cases received phacoemulsification combined with IOL implantation. The mean age of patients was (67.8±10.5)years, and 478 cases (56.9%)were female.\r\n\r\n\r\nResults\r\nThe visual acuity improved after surgery in 992 cases (93.3%), unchanged in 54 cases (5.1%), and decreased in 17 cases (1.6%). The visual acuity (logMAR) before surgery was 1.12±0.70, and the visual acuity after surgery was 0.30±0.35 (t=41.66, P\u003c0.001). Among them aged ≥80 years was in 143 patients, the postoperative visual acuity was≥0.3 in 83.2%. The influence factors of low vision after surgery included diabetic retinopathy, age-related macular degeneration, glaucoma, amblyopia, postoperative corneal edema and advanced age.\r\n\r\n\r\nConclusion\r\nPhacoemulsification combined with single focus IOL implantation is safe and effective, but there is some influence factors of low vision.\r\n\r\n\r\nKey words: \r\nCataract, age-related; Phacoemulsification; Vision, low; Influence factor
