Tu1070 EVALUATING THE IMPACT OF ATTENDING PHYSICIAN CAREER PHASE ON ENDOSCOPIC ULTRASOUND (EUS) WITH FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION (FNA) SAFETY AND EFFICIENCY
Gastrointestinal endoscopy(2020)
摘要
Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) with fine needle aspiration (FNA) is an invaluable tool for the diagnosis, treatment and surveillance of solid and cystic lesions of the pancreas. While these procedures have become indispensable in the modern medical landscape, they require specialized skills that take considerable time and practice to become proficient at. This study aims to evaluate what impact the number of years an attending physician has been performing EUSs has on EUS-FNA procedure time, FNA needle passes and complication rates.
