摘要
•Deposition of (020)-textured WO3 nanostructured film (t-WO3) via laser ablation method.•Deposition temperature & working pressure enables the (020)-texturing and nanostructure.•t-WO3 showed a high photocurrent density over 3.0 mA/cm2 at 1.23 VRHE in neutral electrolyte.•Oxygen vacancies, surface area and donor density, Hall mobility values are characterized.•High photocurrent generation is attributed to the enhanced charge transport and transfer efficiencies.
