摘要

•One-pot sustainable synthesis of molybdenum and cobalt supported on SBA-15.•High superficial dispersion on SBA-15 with strong interaction between Co and Mo species.•High CO oxidation activity and catalytic stability at 730 °C in presence of SO2 and steam.•Mo-promotion preserved activity and it was crucial to improving the stability of the Co-catalysts.•Impregnation generates Co and Mo species inside of mesopores, decreasing activity, and stability.
