摘要
•Coercivity approaching 15 kOe is acquired for PrAl diffusion into LaCe-40 magnet.•PrDyAl GBDP cannot further enhance coercivity whilst lowers remanence to 12.16 kG.•Anomalous behavior of PrDyAl GBDP magnet is due to particular surface microstructure.•Pr-rich shell along continuous GBs favors coercivity-remanence balance for PrAl GBDP.
