Titration of myelin oligodendrocyte glycoprotein (MOG) - Induced experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE) model

•Titration of the MOG-EAE induction protocol reveals the required constituents doses.•EAE protocols can be drastically reduced without decreasing clinical manifestations.•EAE-mice induced by reduced regimens exhibit the characteristic CNS histopathology.•Reduced regimen may be efficient cost-effective and less agonizing for the animals.
