摘要
Acetylene is an important chemical raw material, but its flammability, explosiveness and incompressibility bring great challenges to its safe storage and transportation. The conventional storage method has high cost and affects the purity of acetylene. It is an efficient means to store acetylene by adsorption using porous materials. Metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) are a new kind of porous materials with high specific surface area, adjustable and modifiable framework and pore, showing excellent performance in gas adsorption. Therefore, MOFs are expected to provide a way to solve the problem of acetylene storage. In this review, MOFs for acetylene storage are listed, and three strategies to improve the acetylene adsorption capacities of MOFs are concluded; the structure-property relationships of acetylene adsorption of MOFs were revealed, and the usable acetylene storage capacities of MOFs were analyzed. Finally, the issues and challenges of MOFs in acetylene storage were summarized and outlooked.
